Calling Hours will be from 7 to 9 Pm, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Thursday, September 13th at the funeral home. Rev. Arlene R. Wilhelm will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Union Cemetery of Hyde Park.

FISHKILL - Alice T. Eaton, died September 10, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, September 13, 2007, at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, Fishkill. Entombment will follow to Fishkill Rural Cemetery Mausoleum.

POUGHKEEPSIE Charles Bodden Grubb, a lifelong Poughkeepsie resident, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 at home

There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, at the Christ Episcopal Church, Academy St., Poughkeepsie. Burial will be in the family plot at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family. 

SYRACUSE - Jack A. Macken, 91, of Syracuse, died peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2007

Funeral services are Thursday at 9am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street. 

OUGHKEEPSIE Anthony F. Platania, 89, a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 218 Mill St., Poughkeepsie. Handicap parking is located in the rear of the funeral home from Vassar St. A funeral mass will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 13, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Poughkeepsie. 

LAGRANGE - Anthony Alfred Pugnali, 59, a long time resident of LaGrange died suddenly of a heart attack Friday evening on September 7, 2007.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8 pm at Parmele Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday 11 am from Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main St., Poughkeepsie.

PAWLING - Phyllis B. Ramsay, of Pawling, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 at home after an extended illness. 

The family will receive friends and neighbors at the Horn & Thomes Funeral Home, 83 E. Main St., Pawling on Wednesday Sept. 12 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 10:30 a.m.

MARYVILLE, TN - Warren H. Shaw age 82 of Maryville, TN passed away Friday, September 7, 2007 at his home. 

MILLERTON, NY - Helen F. Underhill, 78, a four-year resident of Millerton, NY, formerly of Dover Plains, NY, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at her son's home in Millerton. 

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. during calling hours.
