Poughkeepsie Journal - OBITS: "Mary E. Capalbo POUGHQUAG - Mary E. Capalbo, 71, a life-long resident of Poughquag, passed away Sat., Sept. 8, 2007 at Putnam Hospital Center, Carmel, NY. Daughter of Calvin and Helen (Schank) Woodin, she was born in Poughquag on May 28, 1936, and she attended and graduated from the Arlington School system. On June 24, 1953 she married Roland G. Capalbo in St. John's Church, Pawling; he survives at home. In addition to her husband, she is survived by six sons, Brian Keith Capalbo of Bayfield, CO, Mitchell Roland Capalbo of Lothaire, MT, Matthew Calvin Capalbo of Poughquag, NY, Michael Angelo Capalbo of Highland, NY, Roland George Capalbo, Jr. of Beacon, NY, and Phillip Bradley Capalbo of Poughquag, NY; a daughter, Melissa Mary Capalbo of Poughquag, NY; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two step-greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; she is predeceased by her sister, Shirley Phillips. Funeral arrangements are private under the direction of the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY. Donations in memory of Mrs. Capalbo may be made to the Beekman Library, P.O. Box 697, Poughquag, NY 12570."
