Alvie A. Mehlenbacher, 88, passed away peacefully Thursday (Sept. 4, 2008) at Highland Hospital, Rochester. Alvie was born Jan. 5, 1920 in the Town of Wayland, a son of Edwin and Bernice (Loveland) Mehlenbacher. Alvie married Theda Conrad on June 25, 1942; she predeceased on July 31, 2006. Alvie was a retired supervisor from the Gunlocke Chair Co. in Wayland after 28 1/2 dedicated years of service.
