Alvie was born Jan. 5, 1920 in the Town of Wayland, a son of Edwin and Bernice (Loveland) Mehlenbacher. Alvie married Theda Conrad on June 25, 1942; she predeceased on July 31, 2006. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his loving family. He had just started Kindergarten in Mohawk Central School.
