Alan D. Miller, 45, of 92 Depot St., Canisteo, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning (Aug. 18, 2008) as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle-pedestrian accident. Born in Elmira, on Nov. 24, 1962, he was the son of David and Penney (Button) Miller. Alan grew up in Elmira and moved to the Hornell area as a teenager. He was a graduate of Hornell High School, class of 1981.  From 1981-1994, he served in the U.S. Air Force where he was stationed in Athens, Greece, during Operation Desert Storm.…
