Winker of 92nd St., died Thursday, August 7, 2008 at his residence, following a long illness. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 7, 1931, a son of the late Joseph and Florence (Lynch) Winker.He attended local schools and served active duty with the U.S. Navy from 1949-50 and with the Naval Reserves for seven years.
